A native of France, Mireille Guiliano grew up in Lorraine amidst cooks, chefs, and restaurateurs. After a year as an exchange student in the United States, she completed her education in Paris, receiving her Master’s degree in French and English literature.

For over 20 years Guiliano was the spokesperson for Champagne Veuve Clicquot and a senior executive at LVMH. After publishing French Women Don’t Get Fat and French Women for All Seasons, Guiliano decided to retire from Cliquot and follow her new passion to become a full-time writer.

“Make treating yourself a priority and always remember your life is happening now. Don’t put off all your dreams and pleasures to another day. In any balanced personal definition of success there has to be a powerful element of living life in the present.”
